Having a party and want to stay off your phone? Expecting a home-sharing guest but don't want to wait up for the buzzer? Scheduled Access answers the door for you when you can't, or just don't want to.
Which plans have it: Scheduled Access is part of Buzzly Home and Buzzly Social (it isn't included in Buzzly Lite). On Buzzly Home you can set one-time periods. Buzzly Social adds recurring weekly schedules too, so you can do something like every weekday from 5pm to 7pm.
From your Buzzly dashboard, open Scheduled Access under your Buzzly Number and set when you want the door answered:
One-time: a single start and end date and time. Great for a weekend guest or a one-off delivery window.
Recurring (Buzzly Social): weekly time windows that repeat, like Mondays and Wednesdays from 9am to noon.
While a schedule is active, Buzzly stops forwarding buzzer calls to your phone and instead answers each buzz and opens the door for your guests right away. You'll get an email letting you know a Scheduled Access period was triggered and that Buzzly opened the door.
Heads up: while active, a schedule lets anyone who dials your buzzer in. It's up to you to keep schedules tight so access stays limited. Want control over who gets in and when, person by person? Take a look at Virtual Fobs.
You can create schedules in advance and delete them any time. They'll wait patiently until their time comes before doing anything.
