Unlock Button Setting

Teach Buzzly how to unlock your door.

When your buzzer calls and you press a button on your phone to open the door, that button is your Unlock Button. It's different for every building, and Buzzly needs to know yours so features like Scheduled Access and Virtual Fobs can open the door for you.

Important: set the button you actually press today on a normal buzzer call. The wrong button means Buzzly can't open your door. (This is just your everyday unlock button. It's not where you pick an alternate.)

To set your Unlock Button:

  1. Open the Overview page for your Buzzly Number and click the Unlock Button tile.

  2. On Standard, pick the key you press on your phone to open your door.

  3. That's it. Buzzly remembers it from here on. Made a mistake? Just pick a different one.

Does your building need something unusual? You can also set an alternate tone, a digital tone, or a multi-key sequence such as *5# or 123 from the same Unlock Button tile. See My buzzer doesn't open the door when expected for the step-by-step.
